¨ Friday, October 18, 2013  -  The Montreal launch of Jeanne Dugas of Acadia by Cassie Deveaux Cohoon, sponsored by the Fraser-Hickson Library, was held at The Thomas More Institute in Montreal.

¨ June 18, 2013  -  A reading from Jeanne Dugas at the Petit-de-Grat Library, Centre La Picasse, Petit-de-Grat (Isle Madame), Cape Breton.

¨ Monday, Sept. 23, 2013  -  Cassie gave a reading and discussion of Jeanne Dugas of Acadia at the Musée Acadien, West Pubnico, NS.

¨ Tuesday,  Sept. 24, 2013  -  Cassie lectured on Jeanne Dugas of Acadia at the Université de Ste-Anne, Church Point, NS.

¨ Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2013  -  Cassie gave a reading and discussion of Jeanne Dugas of Acadia at the Grand Pré National Historic Site, Grand Pré, NS.

¨ Cassie attended the 2014 World Acadian Congress held in northern New Brunswick, part of Quebec, and the Madawaska area of Maine.
 

Monday, August 11th, 2014  - Cassie was among a group of Acadian authors (both English and French) who presented and signed books, at The Blake Library at the University of Fort Kent, Maine.

Thursday, August 14th, 2014 - Cassie gave a reading and discussion of Jeanne Dugas of Acadia  at Le Musée Culturel du Mont Carmel, Maine.

Cassie also spoke at the Bourgeois Family Reunion held in St. Basile, New Brunswick, during the congress. She is a descendant of Jacques Bourgeois on her maternal side.
